WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE DREAM

A Rocking, Fun Filled Musical Twist on A Midsummer Night's Dream by Brian Kennington featuring the music of THREE DOG NIGHT.

"Loaded with campy humour, interjections of modern lingo, rock and roll, and the forward thinking direction of Brian Kennington, The Dream is not only an entertaining two hours but a brilliant way to see Shakespeare in a brand new light." - Carolina Smart, torontostage.com

It’s the end of summer at the arts camp Shambala and the staff is preparing for closing night ceremonies, but there is turmoil amongst them.

Hermia, daughter of the camp owners, has been forbidden to see fellow Counselor and lover, Lysander. Defying her father’s wishes, Hermia and Lysander steal away to the surrounding forest. Demetrius, also in love with Hermia, pursues the lovers. Helen, who’s in love with Demetrius, joins in the hunt.

Meanwhile, a group of aspiring drama counselors head off into the forest to rehearse a play for the closing night ceremonies.

Unknown to all, the forest is inhabited by disgruntled Fairies. Using their powers of magic, the Fairies strike and havoc unfolds.
